Privacy Policy

Metate Group ("we") operates QR Pro. This policy explains what we collect and why. We aim to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password. Your codes: the names and destination URLs you create. Scan data: when someone scans one of your codes we record a timestamp and basic technical details (such as browser type and referring page) to produce your analytics. We do not attempt to identify individual scanners.

How we use it

To provide the Service, operate your dynamic redirects, show you analytics, process your subscription, and contact you about your account. We do not sell your data.

Processors

We use Stripe for payments (they handle your card details — we never see them), Supabase for our database, and Vercel for hosting. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security terms.

Retention

We keep your account and code data while your account is active. Delete a code and its scan history is removed; close your account and we delete your data, except where we must retain records (for example, billing) by law.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing us. If you are in the UK/EU you have rights under the UK GDPR/GDPR, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
